Today's Economist argues that "the world's internet superpower faces testing times", and that the real tests will not be in anti-trust or copyright, but in privacy and data. In a world where you are what you click, whoever watches the clicks has unmatched insight into who you are. Since 2000, it's been clear that the big challenges for the future in crime will be around identity, its theft and protection. That means new legal structures to manage this, and oversight regimes to manage the structures. It's unfair to single out Google, but as always, the Economist provides a great read and great insights.
