Oldest online newspaper gets newest content format
The web's video content tipping point has firmly been crossed. We've been working with media groups on this for a few years now and it's great to see that The Telegraph is upping the stakes in its video content. Coming up for its 13th birthday, Telegraph.co.uk is now deeply integrated into the group's publishing operation in their swanky new newsroom in Victoria. The whole architecture of the newsroom radiates from the command desks where editors plan the edition and the flow of news, but with the web an intrinsic part of the 24hr content engine, the video cameras are creeping closer. Watch out for print journalists doing far more on-air as the group bolts in Brightcove’s technology. Programming is set to include travel, arts and fashion in addition to the regular news bulletins.
