My friend Annette has invited me to a drinks party. Thing is, it's in Finnish. Other thing is, it's online. Annette wears the 'early adopter' label proudly. (And she's not doing badly on 'international' either. Finish by nationality, Belgium by residency - for the next few months at least - and today we're having coffee in London).
Let's not talk about the where's and when's (or even the whys), but with the aid of an interpreter speed typist, it'll be happening in an online hotel bar real soon.
